Graduated in 1994 from the PIT (Percussion Institute of Technology) in Los Angeles, he began at the age of 8 with the marching drum at the cadets of Geneva. Alex also gave lessons at the music school "la lyre" as well as at the thônex leisure center (mjc) from 1995 to 2002.

Drummer of Sidmantra, of PUSH www.push-music.net since 2006, of the new line up of 7 tone and of the cover band Back to 80, he also accompanies the singer Nevill and the singer Vivian Thalie. Co-founder of the collective Nu-Jazz freebase corporation www.freebasecorp.com (150 dates including the Montreux jazz Café) he is still involved in a new extreme Metal project called Inflection Point.
Alex has accompanied dozens of artists including the Guinean singer Maciré Sylla, the jazz pianist Al Blatter, the metal group Djizoes with an Asian tour in 2010, the singer Damien Surdez today Zedrus, Chris Maldah including a duet with the rapper French Stommy Bugsy, the Tontons flingueurs and the band La Chose (1st part of Silmarils)
With around 650 concerts in Switzerland, France, Europe, but also in the United States, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan, he has thus forged a solid experience of the stage but also of the studio.
Lives in the Geneva region of Switzerland.

Born in rock and pop, adoring the power of metal as well as the softness of classical music, Jimmy loves versatility. Passing through jazz with Agua Fresca (modern jazz composition), pop/rock JFA (covers) or even the musette variety (Orchestre Julie Blocher), he likes to explore his instrument through any style. With a good stage experience with more than 200 concerts and a personal investment at all levels, his time is divided between concerts every week and lessons as an independent teacher.
