Legal and fiscal framework: Studiodulac is not a commercial company, it is a private space rented out under the furnished rental regime. A rent receipt will therefore be given to you corresponding to the duration of your stay after receipt of your payment.
Our accredited engineers are not employees, they are self-employed under the status of free-lance or entertainment worker. They will bill you separately for their services. The price displayed including VAT is the sum of these two offers. (A rental offerreal estateand a pro service offer).
The studio does not charge an hourly rate.The minimum billing with a sound engineer is 200 euros for a half day of 4 hours. We don't open the studio for 1 hour.
The studio only works by reservation because our sound engineers are not salaried.. they travel specially for your session, sometimes from afar. They prepare the various equipment to be installed to carry out your recording service. A deposit is required upon booking. Without deposit, no studio.
We do not respond to various requests for cultural partnerships or any sponsorship which could be useful for our notoriety... Our activity is neither a pastime nor a hobby: it is a job. Our customers and word of mouth are our only and best advertisement.

* Specific rental subject to restrictions: We sometimes rent the studio to do:
1) Training sessions,
2) video shooting sessions aimed at promoting the recordings of our clients who have recorded in this studio.
3) masterclasses
4) sessions with sound engineers on their behalf and who will have followed our training beforehand.
For sound engineers who would like to use the studio for themselves or their clients, it is necessary to plan a session to get started with the STUDER console, the acoustics of the place and the configuration of the various software and hardware useful for operation. du studio. (this is necessary in most cases). This session will be led by the owner of the studio and an accredited sound engineer.
A fixed participation of 150 euros to be accompanied for 1/2 day is requested, it constitutes the entry ticket to obtain the accreditation sound engineer at the studiodulac

*Nous pouvons à l'aide de quelques logiciels appropriés vous produire un master dans le prolongement d'un mixage pour graver votre CD ... et faire de notre mieux... mais pour un enregistrement dont le nombre de copies serait supérieur à 1000 copies, nous vous recommandons de faire appel à un studio de mastering externe professionnel et uniquement dédié à ce traitement pour les productions du commerce.

The “One day live challenge” Formula:

With the group 4U2
The “One day live challenge” formula consists of a day of live recording lasting 12 hours with coaching by a sound engineer and a producer/artistic director for the benefit of of a singer or a group who wishes to materialize their work in a minimum of time in the form of a pre-mastered disc.
Typical plan of the day (steps will be flexible depending on the group preparation):

9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Installation of equipment and soundtakes, discussion on the spirit of the music and the desired rendering (any type of recording provided by the client will be welcome to discuss the style and the desired artistic orientation)

11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. The group begins to play, we do a balance and we concentrate… if necessary, we offer a coaching service to facilitate the setting up of the different members of the group, on will insist on the collective rhythmic work as well as on the regularity of the playing of the drums.

Lunch break

2:00 p.m: We record for 4 hours

6:00 p.m: End of recording for a title (a very well prepared group can try to record a second title within the 4 hour time frame) or a medley of several titles (allow 4.30 min max).

6:00 p.m.- 9:00 pm: Review, Mixing, Pre-mastering and burning of a reference CD.
The microphones that will be used for this session will be chosen for their quality of robustness and common use in conditions of use such as live (mainly dynamic microphones)
This day will be intense and will represent a challenge for the group, but also for the sound engineer who will have to think about the mixing and the finished product of the whole! In short, an unforgettable day.
The “Single” Formula:
675 euros
The Single Formula consists, as its name suggests, in recording a title that will have the quality of a commercial disc.
That consists of:

A full time day of sound recording for the recording of the title,

A mixing service performed outside,

The delivery of a master.
Accommodation:

Package of 7 euros per person per night.

Accommodation in a separate room is free for the sound engineer.

For any stay longer than one week, a flat rate of 20 euros for cleaning costs and evacuation to the selective sorting of waste will apply. See the housing conditions

The budget for your project will depend on how much time you spend in the studio.
To estimate this time, you must give us details of the work you are going to entrust to us.
Here are some examples:
